Words have more or less evaded me recently – could it be too many longcount blogs? LOL So this is short of words and big on color. Enjoy!
This lovely creature posed so beautifully for me!
what a beautiful lizard! he moved so slowly and deliberately, posing and watching me with both independent eyes so intently. about 6-8″ long without his very long tail, which had to be close to a foot!
These guys know you are looking at them, it doesn’t matter how far away you are! Here he was watching me watching him – posing for the picture. Helllloooo! I see you see me
this beautiful little tanager was hard to see and capture – but I think you can see his beautiful sky blue wings
this is a trogon – try to zoom in on him. Really a tough one to get a good picture of, but these birds are quite large – up to 10″, the renowned Quetzals are in this family, but we were quite thrilled to see this one!
unfortunately these towers are being installed at an insane rate across this country, marring the beautiful countryside and imposing their lethal frequencies on all of us. ho hum, everyone here has a cell phone…demand is big, thus the towers are everywhere, in huge swaths – miles of them.
Tip for the day: keep the focus!
